About The Matching Grant Opportunity The Unitarian Universalist Funding Panel (UUFP) has issued a matching grant to The Mountain for its "Partners in Peace" program with the International Rescue Committee of Atlanta (IRC). The UUFP will match your donation dollar-for-dollar up to $7,000 for this program for a very limited time. This is a wonderful opportunity to support The Mountain and the IRC in our quest to provide programs that will serve as a foundation for sustainable relationships among participants and increase the capacity of those who serve them. About The Partners in Peace Program The Mountain and IRC Atlanta are launching this program to bring diverse youth together, and to enhance the ability of staff and volunteers to work successfully in cross-cultural contexts. Through their experience at The Mountain, IRC clients and staff will have the opportunity to quickly shed barriers and establish common ground. The four pilot programs will consist of one weekend "theme CONference" for youth and advisors, one five-night summer cross-cultural youth camp, and two training/retreat weekends for IRC and Mountain staff.
